Hello,
We are currently using Oracle Designer 6i against a 10g Oracle db. and as old as Designer is, I still haven't not found a comparable product(different topic perhaps). Nonetheless, we are currently migrating our db. to 18C, and am wondering/hoping that we can still use Oracle Designer 6i for our db objects, i.e. generating against the new 18C db, tables/packages, etc.. We have a working test 18C db. but I haven't been able to connect/generate/see it using Designer 6i.

Appreciate your thoughts & feedback.

Designer 6i is (IIRC) OCI 8.1 nad DB 18c is (in effect) 12.2.0.2, so it should work for you.
