hi :
I am working oracle9i with windows 2000 os and
I have two computer server1 and client1 .
server1 is pdc of network and target database is on this
computer and database of repository and oms
are on client1 with professional 2000 os.
I create a user with all of the privilege for example
logon as a batch job on server1 and after connecting
to oms in the configuration/preferences menu in
console of client1 i select server1 node and i enter above user with password and i select
target database and i enter user:sys with password of sys .
but unfortunately all of my jobs will been failed after submittin-scheduling with this error:

VNI-2015 : The Node preferred credentials for the target node are either invalid
or do not have sufficient privileges to complete the operation.
On Windows platforms, the Node credentials specified for the Windows target
should have the "Logon as a batch job" privilege.

what do i do ?

Hi,
'VNI-2015' is basically recd when proper mapping of system level privileges has not been done for using OEM.I had earlier recd similar error. For the same I was provided with some docs from this site people, using which i got the solution.
You just send one mail to 'magvivek@yahoo.com' and mark subject as 'VNI-2015'....they will send you the necessary docs

thanks
sabir

if the OS is windows 2000
pls refer this posting.
http://orafaq.net/msgboard/oem/messages/417.htm
if the OS is NT/UNIX
refer this posting
http://orafaq.net/msgboard/oem/messages/216.htm
if any of these are not helping you, please open a new thread and post again.

As a prerequisite,
install OMS
create repository.
Make sure intelligent agent is up and available in all participating nodes.
Start the datdabases and listeners.
identify them using OEM Console.
Schedule the jobs
Make sure
