hi i am using WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED into the Execute_Trigger('ON-INSERT'); but getting error FRM:40508 unable to insert record.
any one help this.

You need to provide more details. You should also be getting corresponding ORA- message, what is that?. Not sure why you are forcing ON-INSERT trigger using 'EXECUTE_TRIGGER'.

This error appears if you are inserting/updating NULL values to mandatory columns.

You should never need to use on-insert.
Why are you using a button at all rather than default forms processing?

You need to check the error use Ctrl+shift+E to display the errors
