Hi, ALL

In my machine, I compiled form in 6i development, and at the same time, customer compiled the same source codes.
but why are the two fmx different ?

since I should verify the code(fmb) is same to fmx customer given. since that, I can't verify

does any one have encounter such kind problem ? thank you

How do you know they are different?

A blind shot: if FMX sizes are different, check whether HDD block sizes are (or are not) equal on both computers.

but I am just a noobie at oracle form.
could you explain how to check HDD block sizes to examine two frx are matching the same fmb

If you are worried about if the two .fmb files are the same (maybe a different version was compiled on one of the machines), you do now how to compare two .fmb files, right?

file -> administration -> object list report

actually I want to compare two fmx , not comparing two fmbs.
but it looks like the fmx is based on the registry setting, or something else,
so customer gave me fmb and fmx together, I want to make sure if the fmb matches to fmx or not.
