Hi Team,

Wishing you a very happy new year !!!!

Here i tried to connect oracle as i forget my password and i am unable to connect requried your help in resolving the same

tried attempts
-----------------
1)from windows command prompt : Connect sqlplus username/password@localhost:1521:orcl
2)from sqlplus : username : xxxxx password : xxxxx (after 3 attempt the window closed )

As I am tring in my local machine to connect sqlplus as such not able to achieve the same due to incorrect password
so kindly help me out

Well you would need to connect as some other user that can reset your password - sysdba being the obvious choice.

What Oracle error message (ORA-XXXXX) are you getting?

Yes i achived the same by connecting as /@server as sysdba then i was able to change the password for the rest of the users
