Sir/Madam
I have installed the oracle 9i server at my PC and created the database. But one of the components(agent configuration assistant) has not been installed successfully. I tried to deinstall the s/w through the deinstall utility at the CD but it didn't work. I tried it the other way also by removing the oracle folder that created at the the time of installation but could not succeded.Tell me the best way to remove the oracle server.if thr is any other utility please let me know abt that.
thanks

to remove any active databases use DBCA.
got control panel/services and shutdown all oracle related serivices.
use oradim to remove / create servies.
use OUI (ORACLE UNIVERSAL INSTALLER ) to install/un-install oracle binaries.
