Where are APPSTAND & TEMPLATE fmb located? [message #655675]

I am new to oracle forms.

When I open a form .fmb developed by a friend and get the popup message :

FRM-18108: Failed to load the following objects:

Source Module: APPSTAND
Source Object: STANDARD_PC_AND VA
Source Module: APPSTAND
Source Object: STANDARD_TOOLBAR
Source Module: APPSTAND
Source Object: STANDARD_CALENDAR
--------------------------------------------------

Any suggestions are welcome.

Here's what I think: tell your friend to provide all files you might need; in this case, it might be the APPSTAND.FMB. Put them into a directory which is part of the FORMSxx_PATH variable in DEFAULT.ENV file, located in Developer Suite Home directory, \formsxx\server\ directory. Or/and, include that directory into the Windows Registry variable (FORMSxx_PATH).

We have a basic Vision installation of Oracle R12 EBS, version 12.2.3. I am trying to locate the AU_TOP where APPSTAND & TEMPLATE FMBs / PLLs should be located. Could you please let me know where AU_TOP and or APPSTAND & TEMPLATE FMBs / PLLs are located in a Vision install on Unix.

If you source the APPSORA.env file, you should then have your $AU_TOP variable set.

--update: just noticed you are using 12.2, I think the file is APPS<SID>_<hostname>.env

Can you explain where they are and how you configure your session? Many people (including me) find this sort of thing very confusing when starting out with EBS, a full answer will be helpful.

I started this thread as I needed some help with an error message I encountered when I opened a oracle EBS form in the forms builder. The error message I encountered was :

FRM-18108: Failed to load the following objects:

Source Module: APPSTAND
Source Object: STANDARD_PC_AND VA
Source Module: APPSTAND
Source Object: STANDARD_TOOLBAR
Source Module: APPSTAND
Source Object: STANDARD_CALENDAR
--------------------------------------------------

The solution to resolve this is to find all PLLs from the OS (we are on LINUX) and copy them to the oracle home/forms directory on my local windows machine. Ours being a basic Vision 12.1.3 EBS install, found the PLLs at $AU_TOP/resource directory. The APPSTAND.fmb is available at /u02/oracle/ebs121/VIS/apps/apps_st/appl/au/12.0.0/forms/US. I FTPd all the PLLs and the APPSTAND.fmb to my oracle home/forms directory and the issue was resolved.
