What is the different between oracle 9i 32bit and 64 bits.. If I want to upgrade from 8i to 9i do I need to do two upgrade... ie to 9i 32 bit then 9i 64 bit?

Hi
there is quite diff between 32 and 64 bit
depending on your platform (32 or 64 bit) you can install accordingly
i.e. if your o/s is 64 bit then you can install oracle 32 bit or 64 bit
if your o/s is 32 bit then you have to install 32 bit oracle
I think this is enough
