Hello All,

A good day to you all. Is the db upgrade assistant supposed to start automatically during the rel 2 installation? For some reason it doesn't on my setup.

i have 384mb memory installed, so i think i have an adequate amount.

Is there any other way of upgrading it? i've tried to use the old export/import combo, but i ran into ora-12913 errors in doing so -- something to do with locally managed tablespaces and such.

Any suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks!

You can upgrade manually. No need to start the GUI tool. If you prepare everything for the migration, all it takes is to run this script - u0900010.sql

For more details, see the on-line docs:

Hope that helps,
