I just want to ask that, how can i buy Matthew Morris book

'Study Guide for 1Z0-450: Oracle Application Express 4: Developing Web Applications: Oracle Certification Prep'

in pdf format. Is it available in pdf format.

In the meantime, why not just buy it from an online bookstore? There is a printed and a Kindle format.

None of my books are available legally in PDF format. Every once in a while I find where someone has made illegal copies of one of my books and made them into a PDF. When I find these, I try to get them taken down.

As John noted, the book is available on Amazon. I will note that Oracle updated the 1Z0-450 exam a year or so ago and the guide was written before the update. I don't know how much those changes affect the material covered by the guide because I took the older exam. I have no plans to take the new exam or to create a new revision of the book.

I have been meaning to drop the price of the study guide because of this uncertainty. Reminded by this thread... I just did that. The price on the paperback I dropped from $11.99 to $8.99 and the Kindle version from $8.99 to $5.99. I expect that the price change should reflect on Amazon within 24-48 hours.

thanks for your kind reply.

I asked from the oracle that when they are going to release certification exam for APEX 5. they replied me that "there is no plans to update to APEX 5"

so 1Z0-450 is still validated.

The update I referred to was not one geared towards Apex 5 -- I would expect Oracle to create an entirely new exam if they decide to go that route. I am referring to an update that Oracle Certification DID put into place. They actually put the exam back through a beta period -- which implies some significant changes. The following link is from a posting on the Oracle Certification blog when the beta was closing in May of 2014.

The 1Z0-450 exam is still valid, and I don't expect that to change any time soon. They also didn't change the topics covered by the exam (and therefore my study guide). However, they certainly changed some of the questions, and I don't know how well my study guide maps to those any more.
