Ladies and Gents,

Please can you explain whether is it possible to redirect the client's request for server connection to some other database?
What I mean here is if a client program tries to connect to server using the connect string then can one have some settings to redirect that request to some other database which is sitting on some other machine?
Appreciate any help and thanks indeed in advance.
