How to pass a Parameter value from URL to custom form [message #646074]

Hi,
I have a requirement where the external application calls th Oracle application custom form by passing the phone number and the custom form retrieves the customer info based on the phone number from the query and opens the Customer detail form using the parameters "customer no, ship_to" to the calling form..

So how to pass a parameter value from URL to the form?
