oracle 8.0.5
when I insert chinese character into my oracle,it display "????????",I attempt update the field(display "???") to chinese character ,the sqlplus is no response,I have to close it to reopen.

in regedit:
NLS_LANG £ºsimplified chinese_china.zhs16GBK

select * from v$nls_parameters;

My oracle is 9.0.1 and OS is Windows XP,the value of NLS_CHARACTERSET is ZHS16GBK,so I think it could be your DB server's OS characterset is not compliable.

I delete the database ,and rebuild it ,then the problem is ok!
