Hi all
I by miskate droped first the datafile and not the tablespace, now I'm getting the following error message
ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 71 - see DBWR trace file
ORA-01110: data file 71: '/u02/oradata/DEVDB/is_lisa_ts01.DBF'
SVRMGR>
can somone please help

Hello,
try to put that datafile in Offline state during mount state and later open the database..

Once the database is Opened Drop the tablespace..

Also see what others say regarding this..

Maria,
Once you drop a datafile consider that your tablespace is gone. If you database is up and running then you may want to salvage the objects (if the tablespace contains more than one datafile) and drop the tablespace.

If it is down then follow the steps outlinded by Sai and open the db and drop the tbsp.
