hi ,

i want to increase the number of instances of utl_file_dir locations with the alter system set command in oracle 9i.

I have tried doing the same but the older directory location gets overwritten with the new one.

use utl_file_dir=dir1
utl_file_dir=dir2
....
utl_file_dir=dirn in ur parameter file.
