Hi everbody!

is it possible to install two Versions of Oracle (Server) on Windows 2000 Server? If it works, could somebody tell me the best way for the installation?

Sabrina,

It's possible. Currently I have five different Oracle versions on the same W2K server. There are some thing to remmember whan doing that:

1. Always install different Oracle versions in different Oracle HOMES.

2. If you are installing lower version than already installed higher version - use the higher version Oracle Installer to do that.

3. Stop the existing OracleService<SID> and TNSListener services when installing new version.

4. Make sure you have enough disk space in C:Temp
