Hi,
I would like to get some suggestion / help in purchasing new server for our office.
At present it is running on Linux version 4 and oracle 10g.
some clarification on this will he more helpful
I have short listed 2 servers HP Proliant DL 580 Gen 7 or Gen 9 servers. What will be the supporting Linux for these two servers which should also be compatible for Oracle 10g. Details which i have got is that Oracle 10g is compatible only up to Linux 5.6.
If in case Oracle 11g has to be purchased do we need to have Oracle account. Is there any sales procurement in Bangalore from where we can buy oracle 11g both database and application
