Hi every one,
I have a requirement where i need to design excel template in such way that for each 65532 records it should split into new excel sheet..
i have tried using BI publisher desktop but cannot split into multiple excel sheets where as data is truncating to 65532 records, i did some google and went through metalink id's in oracle support but didn't find exact solution for this..Please help me anybody..
i am using following applications:
R12.2.4
BI Publisher Desktop 11 version
ms-office 2007

This is NOT an Oracle problem, but a Microsoft problem.
Newer versions of Excel do not have any such row count limitation.
besides Excel can directly connect to any ODBC compliant RDBMS & issue SQL against the DB

Hi sir,
thanks for the reply..
Even though i am using ms-office 2007 it shouldn't truncate to 65532 record isn't?..

As you use Excel 2007 and it supports 1,048,576 rows per sheet (as well as all higher versions up to date), there shouldn't be any problem.

(Here is a nice table which shows Excel limits regarding number of rows/columns so - have a look).
