hi
i want to install oracle 12c R1 on red hat 5.9 but i encounter bellow error:
Error in invoking target 'irman ioracle' of makefile '/u01/12c/12c-2/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk'.
See '/home/oracle/oraInventory/logs/installActions2015-06-02_03-39-30PM.log' for details.
sqlplus "/as sysdba"

I have run 12.x on OEL 5.8, so most likely your problem is that your RedHat install is missing a bunch of RPMs. OEL is much better for this, it comes with the oracle-validated.rpm that makes sure everything is there and that the kernel is configured appropriately.
