hi all,
i created a software with oracle form.
i want execute this software(no need to oracle form)that for this i test this method:
i run IE and in address bar entered:http:\\127.0.0.1:8889\forms\frmservlet
Note:this address showed in address bar when in oracle form click on "Run form".
but no run my software.
why?
is my method wrong?
please help me....

Which Forms version did you use to create that application? Looks like 9i (or above). If that's so, setting it up is NOT an easy task. You'll need to install IAS (application server) software which will contain Forms services which will enable you (or your customers) to run that application.

I've never done that, but - as much as I heard from another people, this is a task which requires a lot of effort. So, if you plan to do it yourself, go and read documentation in details. Otherwise, maybe you should consider hiring someone who knows how to do it.

we created a application and we not can implementation,this is very bad.
i not can consider hiring someone....
i should learn IAS server.

It depends on Forms version you use. As far as I can tell, you can't download anything lower than 11g now (it is not an "IAS" any more, but "WebLogic Server") as lower versions are out of support. If you need them anyway, you'll have to contact Oracle Support and ask them to provide that software for you.

I believe we went over this before. Unfortunately you are in Iran, and it is illegal to have Oracle or any access to downloads or support in Iran.

You can't think your company purchased Oracle products as these products can't be sold and bought in your country.
Your usage of them is illegal towards USA and many other countries laws.
Providing you help is so illegal for all inhabitants of these countries and it is good to warn them about the risks they take.
In addition, this site is located in a country which has forbidden any kind of trade with your country and so can be prosecuted or closed for this.

So do you want everyone can't get help and some people will be punished because of you?
