Hello
Uninstall is allways a kinda problem with oracle.. best way is
remove Orant Folder and then Remove Oracle entries from C:program files
and then go to regedit
search for "oracle" and remove all the entries and restart the machine..

Another way is Use 8i installer and see if u can remove 8.0 contents (i never tried this)

You need the 8.0 CD to do so. Start the installer. Not Universal Installer as this came only after 8i. Till 8.0 there was a different installer and was a pain in the neck.

1. Start the installer.
2. You will see 2 boxes. Left will have what to Install and Right will have What has been installed.
3. Select all on the right hand side and click remove. Follow the instruction.
4. After some time, it will remove what ever it can. Then it will mention that it is safe to delete the folder from you local drive.
