I have a requirement of parsing the contents of many text files , like reading them and extracting the information into table.How can i achieve this.
I am using forms 6i , and i want to create interface like browse button for choosing the path of folder which contains all the text files and once this folder is selected all the contents inside the text files must be read and written to a table inside oracle table.

Neither V10 nor Forms 6 is still supported.
IMO, it is unwise to write new application using obsoleted software.
So what specific problem do you have in placing TEXT inside Oracle table?
