while installing oracle 8 personal edition
in the middle of installation it give me following error.

Unable to delete NT Service for the SQL* Net V2 Listener

please help me

If you are installing on NT machine delete the previous service. You can use ORADIM command for the same.

ORADIM is an Oracle Utility that allows you to create NT services. One example is to create a service that starts and shuts down the intance/database.

You can probably look at the db create scripts created by OUI to check how this is being used. Or, you can probably type ORADIM /HELP on your windows command prompt.

If my insight is too DIM, maybe someone else can shine a better light on the subject.
