Hai friends,

In my personal notebook I am having Oracle 9i server which is used for my office work.And it may be useful when it is connected to my office intranet.So if am not in office i am not able to use oracle.It is very hard to practice in oracle related fields.So can i install a personal oracle edition ?.If i install any personal editions will it affect my oracle server performance?.Can i have both server and personal edition in same book.Any body help me .Please mail me with my doubt.

you can have both in the same notebook, as long as you can afford to have disk space and memory.
i would make sure the service ( of 9i EE) is not running when 9i PE is running, so as it may be perform a little beter.
