it is really difficult to find the real solutions. My questions is........what are the best and convenient way to migrate 8.0.6 to 9i? I would like to have all the steps that I could follow, which are very specifically to 8.06 to 9i.
I would highly appreciate for this help

Here is the most detailed Oracle 8 to 9i migration guide - Migration Reference

You have to use the MIG utility provided with Oracle 9i.
