I have a oracle DB account (DBMon) with the role 'SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE'. It is presumed that I can describe V_$SGA thru DBMon account. However, error ORA-00942 prompted if I type 'DESC V_$SGA'. How can I solve the problem?

V_$SGA is sys table fully quantified sys.V_$SGA
