How to configure DADS.conf to use urls on web server? [message #625894]

I have a APEX application using DADs.conf now I trying to use the web server to call my APEX application instead of using the server name. How do I do that?
I have http:xx.xxx.xx.xx:7777/pls/apex ans it is working perfect. I have VIPs (url) created on both servers (web server and Application server where DAD is configure).
How do I make my url work instead of server name or IP address?
I have tried to use httpd.conf but its not working.
Our web server OHS apache is configured to use ssl/https.

Please advise me on the process to take.
