Dear All,
I was trying to restore database through RMAN full backup. But faced error during "switch database to copy;".
Steps -
1) taken full Rman backup plus archivelog.
2) pfile saved as with some other name.
2) dropped the database through dbca.
4) After "set newname for database", trying to switch database to copy, getting error - RMAN-06571: datafile 1 does not have recoverable copy.
Below are the steps performed during the restoration -

You've messed up your incarnation. I though that might happen, because you ran that reset command. Why?
Your best option now is probably to delete everything, and do it properly: follow the examples on the Backup And Recovery User Guide, and do not execute commands without a reason.
