Hi,

I'm facing following problem with Enterprise Manager Console.

"Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database instance. The state of the components are listed below."

I want know do I need to shutdown the database before running the following command?

"emca -config dbcontrol db -repos recreate"

You cannot configure EM unless the database is open.
