Dear All,

My current os version is

You could ask the author of the article, you know. Otherwise, you need to prove that you X-esrver is actually working. What X-server are you running? Can it display, for example, the xclock?

root cause & fix are external to Oracle.
Problem & solution have NOTHING to do with Oracle, but external OS configuration.
OUI utilizes X-Windows (& $DISPLAY)
a quick test is $DISPLAY is correct is to launch xclock.
if xclock succeeds, the OUI has a chance to succeed.
solution depends upon steps of how & where OS user logged onto OS prior to invoking "runInstaller"

Dear All,

I am executing the command on linux server itself, which is having GUI. We will try to execute it through other 3rd party tool (ie - x-manager).

Regards,
Ashish

if/when xclock fails, then OUI fails

does xclock work for you?
