Setup Required to run "Item Organization Assignment" program [message #616577]

Hi Gurus,

I need to assign Master items to Inv organizations using standard program 'Item Organization Assignment' but not sure what setup I need to do before running this program (specially Organizations Hierarchy).

I am following metalink note '1066901.1', according to which I need to perform below 2 steps
1) Create Organization Hierarchy
2) Run Item Organization Assignment program

While performing first step i.e. create org hierarchy, I am not able to give Oragnization Name field (source/parent org) because its a non-updatable field.
I am not sure why this field is disabled. Do I need to set any profile option or any other pre-requistes are there?

Could you please help me on this..
