Whenever I run exp to export my database I meet the
error "segmentation fault",my system is Oracle8.1.7 installed on RedHat 7.2. What's the matter? Thank you.

There are few things to check:
1. First try to relink your exp binary :
cd $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib
make -f ins_rdbms.mk iexp
2. Check your Linux Kernel shared memory and semaphores parameters.
3. Check your shell limits:
$ulimit -a
core file size (blocks) 1000000
data seg size (kbytes) unlimited
file size (blocks) unlimited
max locked memory (kbytes) unlimited
max memory size (kbytes) unlimited
open files 1024
pipe size (512 bytes) 8
stack size (kbytes) 8192
cpu time (seconds) unlimited
max user processes 7168
virtual memory (kbytes) unlimited
