Dear All,

My database control file is in ASM disk. Since, mirroring & stripping is happening in ASM. we have only one disk available in ASM. Do we need to do multiplexing on same disk?

This is SIT database. That's y only one disk is provided to us.

If by this you mean having more than one control file, yes, to workaround an unfortunate "rm" on it.
