Hi !
Can anybody tell me the difference between Oracle 9i and 11i ? Is 11i a higher version ? is it a different product ?

Any other details about this will be really helpful.

Thanks
Amit

Oracle 9i is the current version of the RDBMS (Relational DataBase Management System - Database).

Oracle Applications 11i is the Oracle ERP Suite which includes - Oracle Financials, Manufacturing, Payroll, Clinical, etc. Those are packaged applications.

Two different things..

Hope that helps,
