Hi all,

I've done a ocrconfig -showbackup on both nodes,

on node01


grid@SLES-112-ORCL01:~> ocrconfig -showbackup auto

sles-112-orcl02     2014/04/07 04:40:53     /u01/app/11.2.0/grid/cdata/backup00.ocr

sles-112-orcl02     2014/04/07 00:40:56     /u01/app/11.2.0/grid/cdata/backup01.ocr

sles-112-orcl02     2014/04/06 20:40:53     /u01/app/11.2.0/grid/cdata/backup02.ocr

sles-112-orcl02     2014/04/05 08:40:49     /u01/app/11.2.0/grid/cdata/day.ocr

sles-112-orcl01     2014/03/31 00:51:02     /u01/app/11.2.0/grid/cdata/ORAC-scan/week.ocr

on node2


grid@SLES-112-ORCL02:~>  ocrconfig -showbackup auto

I observe that the most recent ocrbackup are done on node2, is there a way to configure backup on both nodes.

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/rac.112/e41959/votocr.htm#i1012456 does not mention a method to configure on both nodes.

Welcome to the forum. Please read our OraFAQ Forum Guide and please read How to use [code] tags and make your code easier to read

I do not know of any way to control this. The backups are made by whichever node has taken on the role of OCR master. This is usually the first node to start up, but this cam change later in response to events.
