Hi,
Has oracle dropped support for 7.3.4? If not when are they planning to? If they have dropped, we have to migrate a bunch of databases. Please let me know asap.

Not clear which OS platform you have, but the support matrix is close on all platforms.

For complete support matrix on Solaris, check This One

Hope that helps,

Hi,
Oracle has desupported 8.1.6 and below. By desupport they mean that there will be no more bug fixes if you encounter a new bug. However they will support you if you have a problem.

You can view the desupport notice available on METALINK for inoformation regarding this as well as their extended support contract.
