I am getting following error on browser while opening Reports link :

http://ioas11g:9002/reports/rwservlet



Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.


i had cleared history,cookies also.
Forms are working fine!!

(tried it 1 day,Googled it but not found suitable solution)

what should i do exactly?

Due to
error in WLS_REPORTS:

[oracle.reports.rwclient.RWClient.doGet][reports]"> ang.NullPointerException<Mar 20, 2014 4:21:14 AM PDT> <Error> <HTTP> <BEA-101020> <[ServletContext@1931980345[app:reports module:/reports path:/reports spec-version:2.5 version:11.1.2]] Servlet failed with Exceptionjava.lang.NullPointerException

what does it mean which null value should be exist there?

and yes there problem with in process server also it is not starting at any cost:see attached file

Dear,
1st Step ->
Did you start Reports Services - Start Weblogic Server - WLS_REPORTS ?
2nd Step ->
try to run it from domain.
http://localhost:7001/em

Reports ->Control -> Shut Down & then Start Up.

In-Process Reports Server Status should be running mode. (Green).

Also check your Forms Services - Start Weblogic Server - WLS_FORMS.
If same error unable to start it,It's mean you've Installation problem.

in my case i was able to solve the issue by setting
standalone="yes" from "no"
in rwservlet.properties file.

I do not think that anyone can assist until you describe the problem and the environment. Stating that you have "the same issue" as someone had three years ago is not enough. You need to create a new topic, with a proper description.
