Hi All,
We have our applications developed using Oracle Forms and Reports 10gR2. the applications are hosted on Solari10 servers and are accessed from Windows clients.
Recently we had a Windows 7 rollout so all clients that will connect to our application will be on windows 7. to make the application launch and work, we have made the following change in our Windows 7 PC.
Added environment variable:
Variable name: JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS
Variable Value: -Djava.vendor="Sun Microsystems Inc."
Now the application launches but gives a warning message:
"Oracle.forms.webutil.file.fileFunctions bean not found. CLIENT_TEXT_IO.fopen will not work".
Can someone help me in analysing this further please? why is that we have this error and what is the impact of this error ?
