ORA-01034, ORA-07429 error, but tnsping is ok [message #53746]

Oracle 7.3.4
OS: Digital Unix 4.0f

I can successfully connect with "sqlplus system/manager" on unix server and retrieve data from database.
But failed when connect with "sqlplus system/manager@asmc" on both unix server and client. The error is: "ORA-01034: Oracle is not available." and "ORA-07429: smsgsg: shmget() failed to get segment". ("asmc" is the database alias. )
On client(Windows 2k Professional English Version) and server "tnsping asmc" is ok.
On server, no obvious error message in alert.log and no file exists in directory "USER_DUMP_DEST". It seems oracle instance has started up!

Can anybody give me some idea to solve the problem?

1. Make sure u use a physical path, not the symbolic
   link, for ORACLE_HOME in the  "listener.ora". 
   else, change it and try again
2. just issue shutdown abort (make sure u have backup)
   try again.
3. is there anything like
UNIX Error: 2: No such file or directory  ??

Execuse me, can you give me detail?
1. Do you mean check 'read' and 'execute' permission of all files and directories under $ORACLE_HOME?
2. Do you mean check 'read' and 'execute' permission of all file under $ORACLE_HOME/lib?
