I am using Oracle Reports 6i and i wanted to move the fields highlighted to the right. But for some reason i couldnt even select the fields. I have tried Confine and Flex mode. Not sure. Can you please assist me here on how to select the fields so that i can align them properly.

You can't select them (simply by clicking on them) because they are located "below" some other objects (that might be frames, for example).

Therefore, zoom out enough to see the right margin. Then click (and hold) right from your report and select those fields moving the mouse from right to left.

Alternatively, select fields in Object Navigator (Ctrl + click). Then go to Layout Editor - just don't click INTO it, you'll de-select everything! Click somewhere in the toolbar or similar.
