Hi all,

I am facing following error , when i click on the find(Torch Button) in oracle apps form..

'Error: To retrieve the Information in this block, use menu option view -> query by example -> Enter to invoke enter-query mode, then view -> Query by example > Run to run your query..'

Please help me its require..

I'm really not sure how we got so confused so let's review shall we.

You do something in a form and get a message.
LF asks if you followed the instructions in the message.
Your response:
"Thanks for reply, so, is this in enter-query mode ? I want manually suggest me.."

Answering a question with a question is rarely helpful. In this case it does nothing to answer LF's question. In addition it is not clear what your question refers to. The "this" in your question refers to a thing but you don't define what the thing is.

So I asked you want you meant.
You replied by attaching an image of the message - this doesn't not tell us what the above quote refers to.
I pointed this out.

Your response was a completely meaningless "Yes"

So try again - and this time use actual sentences to clarify your question.

Sorry Cookiemonster, actually my point is--after display records on the DB canvas(details canvas) , i want to show control canvas, without close the DB canvas, can you please how to do that Please?

I don't see any obvious connection between this last post and the previous ones.
Did you expect that when you clicked on the find button it would take you back to the control canvas?

No, suppose , when i select lov & click on the find button, it navigates to the Database Canvas , displayed records.,here i want back(show) the Control canvas , without close the Database canvas..

And what, precisely, is stopping you from doing that?

Bear in mind this is the general forms forum, myself and LittleFoot don't actually use oracle apps and never have. We know how forms works, we don't know how oracle apps is built on top of oracle forms. The message you got in the first place is not a standard forms message, but it my be a standard apps message.
We do not know what this form does unless you tell us.
We do not know what you expect it to do unless you tell us.
We do not know what precise actions you are taking in the form when you encounter these issues unless you tell us.
We do not know what code it is actually running unless you tell us.
