Hi,
I am trying to configure 2-Node RAC 11g on VMware 9 with shared storage by following this article.

I am getting error while configuring DNS on Openfiler 2.99.1
Quote:

[root@openfiler ~]# conary update bind:runtime=9.4.3_P5-1.1-1
Error occurred opening repository http:/openfileresa.rpath.org/conary/: Temporary failure in name resolution

Please help me in this regard.

Have you resolved this issue? It would seem that resolve.conf needs to be modified to point to your DNS resolver.

Hi,

I got workaround for updating bind in Openfiler.
I configured 3 NICs in openfiler:

eth0:Host-only (public interface)
eth1:Bridge/Replicate physical network connection state
eth2:Host-only (private interface)

then

[root@openfiler ~]# conary update bind:runtime

will work properly.

And I have successfuly Installed and configured 2-Nodes Oracle 11g RAC with Openfiler storage.
