I am Rajesh Working in Singapore. I am trying to Install Oracle 7.3.4 in AIX 4.3. I have a problem in setting the environment variable for TERM. As a Oracle user when I type the command "env", the value for TERM = dtterm. Because of this when I try to run the installer, it give me error message Terminal Type not Supported. But when I login as Root and when I type "env", I can see Term=vt100. How do I solve this Problem?.....

use a xterm instead of dtterm
or export TERM=vt100
