Hi all

I am using Oracle 9i ver- 9.0.1.0.0

Whenever i am changing the Job_queue_processes by using OEM console or through Alter system Command it is changing to the Desired Value, but when i restart the server its again reset to 0.

Even if i change it in init.ora under "ifiles" Directory, it is of no use . Same case for job_queue_interval.

Please help me out

Thanks
Rajesh

with 9i the concept of SPILE's is introduced.
if you change the initsid.ora from OEM the changed
file is stored locally somewhere else.
so eventually, when you start the intsid.ora, it would
not have the changed parameter.
Try changing the parameters in the file that resides in the server.
