trace files reside on on DB Server.
Can you directly log onto DB Server?

Yes I donot have access to server.

There are few option is there to finetune.
1.explain plan
2.autotrace
3.sql advisor

And I think that is not enough for tuning the queries in sqldeveloper tool.

Nathan

Try sql developers sql monitoring functions...they're going to give you most of what a 10046 will give you in terms of typical tuning in my experience.

Edit: Requires tuning pack though...

Hi RoachCoach,

I tried for the option Tools->Monitor SQL....

But it suggests that the database version should be Oracle 11g. But my dbversion is Oracle 10g.So I am unable to use it.

Any suggestion apart from that.
