Go for the Personal Edition. It is optimized for usage on a single PC. Besides, only Personal Oracle has a version for Win98. Did you look at the system requirements by the way? I hope you can meet them, because if not you turn your machine into an extremely slow pc. 256MB is the bare minimum to be able to work.

I had 128MB and tried to install 8.1.7 (it's a WinXP pc). Halfway the installation, I didn't have enough memory to continue. Now I've got 384MB (128+256) and it works, but even the 8.1.7 (personal edition) consumes enough disk space.

I hope you have enough resources (disk, memory,...) to go for 9i, but if you're not sure: Download 8i instead. It hasn't got all the features but at least you'll be able to work with your PC.
