Hi, I hope someone can give me a description, or a pointer to a good document, or url, where I can find information of how to recover from a situation where a datafile belonging to a ROLLBACK tablespace is lost.
I understand how to recover from the loss of a "normal" datafile when the database operates in archive mode. But to recover from the loss of a online redo file, or rollback file, seems to me to be quite complex.
Any tip or comment or pointer is highly appreciated.
Thanks.

in which scenario the loss of the rollback datafile is detected ??
-> database is down ( clean/forced).
-> database is up
