my database is on solaris 2.6 . Now my database is very slow . These are important parameters of my settings.
db_block_buffers 300000
db_block_size 4096
shared_pool_size 314572800
processes 150
- Os RAM 3Go
- /etc/system file

i've almost 200 users .
When i use vmstat , it shows bad memory performance.
Please how can i solve my problem ?

The memory parameter you have show add up to about 1.5 gigs but this does not include pga of users or large pool or java pool. What does your total amount of SGA total at peak times.
of the 200 odd connections how many are active? would MTS help relieve memory contraints?
