Hi,
I started the NT services and then i set oracle_sid in DOS#.
After that i typed SVRMGR.
Then SVRMGR>connect internal
connected.
SVRMGR>select username from dba_users;
ORA-01034:ORACLE NOT AVAILBALE.

i checked the service,

OracleNamesService80 -not running
But i already started this one.

Then i checked the namea.log file,

I am getting the following error.
**********************
NN0-00268:warning:configuration database is not used, using checkpoint data instead.
NN0-00260:loading configuration data from checkpoint file "C:ORACLE_HOMENET80namescfpcfg.ora"
NN0-00265: warning: cannot load data from checkpoint file
NL-00405:cannot open parameter file
SNL-00821: nlfncons: file not exist
32-bit windows Error: 2:No such file or directory
NN0-00315:server is listening on (ADDRESS=(protocol=tcp)(HOST=xxx)(PORT=1575)
NN0-00315:server is listening on ADDRESS=(protocol=tcp)(DEV=172)
NN0-00315:server is listening on ADDRESS=(PARTIAL=yes)(PROTOCOL=SPX))
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00530:protocol adapter error
32 bit windows error:38:filename too long
***************
Here i confused more.Because in my listener.ora and Tnsnames.ora don't have spx protocol.why spx protocol is coming in names.log file.

Am i miss something?

Please help me to solve this problem.

Delete the protocols in your "listener.ora" file that
are not being used. like the SPX protocol may be present in listener.ora, but is not configured on
the server.
