Hi to all,

i have a problem where i want to import a document of type.doc which contains a 15 pages of text and a log into the oracle 10g report.

need help to proceed further.

Copy-paste seems to be the simplest option (from my point of view).

U mean by taking the text field and then paste the content init..?

Not the field, just text. As if you wanted to manually type those 15 pages of text.

That's what I'm talking about. Open the Word document, press <Ctrl + A> (which will select the whole text), go to Reports, open its Paper Layout Editor, choose the Text tool, click into the editor, press <Ctrl + V> (paste) and that's it.

[EDIT: fixed "Paste" keyboard shorcut; it is <Ctrl + V>, not <Ctrl + P> as I originally wrote]

i think the Ctrl+ P is not for paste as for as i know and i will follow the way u lead me
